MEC LEHARI LEADS TAXI LEKGOTLA DISCOURSE

Following the release of the National Taxi Lekgotla Discussion Documents by the Minister of the Department of Transport, the North West Department of Community Safety and Transport Management, MEC Sello Lehari will lead the Provincial Taxi Lekgotla Public Discourse, which is intended to encourage maximum participation of stakeholders and outline objectives of the Provincial Lekgotla.

The Public Discourse will lead to the District Makgotla which are buildups to the Provincial Lekgotla that will be followed by the National Taxi Lekgotla.

This seeks to completely professionalize the taxi industry as an important contributor to the economy, enforce unity and leadership as well as empowering role players and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Members of the media are invited at the Taxi Lekgotla Public Discourse scheduled as follows:
